We’ve been in Alaska for almost 2 weeks, and the weather has been cold, but glorious! We took a drive to Dyea, just 8 miles away(where the Chilkoot Trail begins…check your Gold Rush History). It was a beautiful day!

Actually, it was quite scary standing on this tree over the water…
Ella was also terrified…but she’s a good actress…
Jared standing in a less-dangerous place…

The kid hanger…
Ella’s photography…

It’s a good thing Alaska is this beautiful, otherwise we’d have a hard time leaving Mexico!

Well, considering it's freaking hot here, I'd say that looks absolutley beautiful. 🙂 And you're gorgeous too.

Love the pictures! And, Ella is a much better photographer than Jordyn. We always have her take a bunch and they mostly turn out blurry. Ella has a gift!

I was checking out your blog today – hoping to see pictures of your new home… can't wait!! When I look at this last picture (in this post) I can actually see how we look very much alike… It's always harder to see the “look alike” think in my own family – but dang… we could be sisters! tee hee
