It’s hard not to fall in love with Austria and Southern Germany when everywhere you look, you think you’re in a storybook.
We stopped briefly in Innsbruck for an afternoon to walk around. Innsbruck is located halfway between Munich and Verona (Italy). We didn’t make it to either one this Fall, but we will someday.
It’s kind of picturesque…don’t you think?
It’s located in Western Austria, nestled in the mountains at over 7600 feet.
We opted for an easy meal to please the kids. They got plain-jane cheese pizza, and I got some spinach with feta.
We did not get this for dessert. I can’t even begin to image what this gelatin tastes like!

We stopped for awhile in front of the Innsbruck Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of St. James. It’s an 18th Century Baroque chapel, and it created a great backdrop for a few photos.
