After swimming all day at arguably one of the best Western beaches in Mexico, we showered up and made a bee line into the neighboring town of Barra de Navidad. We grabbed some grub at a restaurant, and I tried out a portable high chair that I purchased on Etsy. It wraps around most chairs and creates a little cradle seat for them, so they can’t wiggle away while eating. Ethan never stays put in Mexican-style high chairs, so wrapping this portable high chair in (secures with super-strong velcro in the back) kept him in for once! Yay for cool finds!
Jared’s father was his typical friendly self. He knows no strangers, and we caught him trying to do little-girl-hand-clapping games with some gals on the street.
I love the colors of Mexico!
After strolling through the small city centro, we walked out to the malecon (paved beach path).
Photo-taking ensued. And since I am on a quest to prove I am actually traveling with my family (as opposed to my hubby single-parenting the kids everywhere we go)…I took some self-portraits, too!
(p.s. I love the “pinhole” setting on the new camera. Isn’t it cool?!)
Don’t miss Barra de Navidad or Melaque if you’re headed down the Western Mexican Coast. They’re our favorites!
